When applied and removed correctly, no. Marina's technique is specifically designed to preserve your natural hair's integrity. Bonds are applied with precise temperature control and removed with a keratin-safe solution — no pulling, no breaking. Your hair health is assessed at every appointment.
K-tip, micro, and nano extensions typically last 3–4 months before a move-up appointment as your natural hair grows. The hair itself, with proper care, can last 1–2 years through multiple move-up cycles.
K-tip uses a standard keratin bond — ideal for medium to thick hair. Micro uses a smaller bond for finer hair. Nano uses the smallest bond available — virtually undetectable even in an updo, best for very fine or thin hair. The right choice depends on your hair density, which we assess in your consultation.
Yes. Wash with sulfate-free shampoo, apply conditioner from mid-length down (not at the root bonds). Heat styling is fine at normal temperatures. Color services are possible with advance consultation to ensure bond compatibility.
